The management at Ducon Consultants has taken up the task of team building by mixing it with India's biggest passion – Cricket! Well, what better way could there be to gel in with your co–workers than play and compete with them in a cricket tournament.
The entertaining cricket tournament had three teams playing under the leadership of Director Anshul Shah, Director Utsav Shah and Mr. Vishrut from the PMC Department.
Mr. Vishrut's team emerged as the champion for the day after winning both matches. The first match which was no less than any nail biting Bollywood thriller was a close call for Team Vishrut, the 103 runs that they scored in 13 overs were not a tough target for Team Anshul and Mr Rajan's half century must have certainly given them great hopes but Mr Nikhil's brilliant last over was the real twist and Team Anshul lost the match just by 3 runs.
The second match was a bigger win for Team Vishrut as the captain's half century led to a total of 103 runs yet again, which this time was a challenging target for their opponents and Mr Vishrut's excellent bowling performance rounded up Team Utsav at just 83-9 in 13 overs.
The deciding match of the tournament will be played between Team Vishrut and whichever team emerges as the winner in a match between Team Anshul and Team Utsav.
The tournament was a big boost for the enthusiasm of all employees and the participation of the senior co- workers and management was a big motivation for everyone.
"It was great of all to participate. I plan to make this a bi-annual event and hopefully more staff members will be a part of it in the future..." said Mr Anshul Shah.
Sports events organized by companies and corporates are not only a great way to spend quality time outdoors but also play a big role in building strong relationships between employees & management and co-workers.
